What is The Playbook?
The Playbook is a six month, group coaching program designed to give Compass agents the resources and tools needed to successfully implement processes, systems, and sales tactics that help to scale, streamline, and drive more business. In other words, it is a coaching program that gives you tangible resources that can improve your business today.
How many sessions will I attend each week and who will host them?
We offer a variety of sessions between Monday and Thursday each week, and encourage you to join as many sessions as
you can!Mondays & Tuesdays | Chirag Shah | Main Sessions
• Monday | Session 1: There are two time slots available (9:30AM EST and 9:30AM PST) for the main sessions with Chirag. While the topics covered on Mondays during each time slot are the same, we simply provide both options to accommodate your time zone.• Tuesday | Session 2: Chirag hosts a second session with two time slots on Tuesdays (9:30AM EST and 9:30AM PST), which are often a continuation of the Monday topic, or a new topic altogether.
We highly suggest everyone join at least the Monday and Tuesday sessions that fit their schedule.
Wednesdays & Thursdays | Expert Mentors | Additional Sessions
Each week we will have a variety of expert mentors host a session on a topic they are experts in. Each expert mentor hosts at least one session per month on either Wednesday or Thursday. The time will depend on their schedule, but we do our best to ensure these are scheduled so that all time zones can easily attend. Given we have so many expert mentors, you will have the opportunity to join multiple sessions each week on different topics! The expert mentor calendar is finalized closer to the beginning of the program, and will be shared during your onboarding. We encourage everyone to join at least one expert mentor each week to dive deeper into a given topic.What happens if I can’t make it to a session?
All sessions are recorded and uploaded to our platform within 48 hours, allowing access to catch up if you are unable to attend. As well, a weekly recap of the main coaching sessions is sent out at the end of each week including action items and links to resources.
What exactly do you mean by group coaching?
Group coaching is a style of coaching where a large group of Compass agents join each virtual coaching call together. Think of it like signing up for a group fitness class, or attending a lecture with other students.
What is the difference between signing up as an individual versus a team leader?
While the main difference is pricing, there are other differences in the content offered to individuals versus team leaders. Whether you sign up as an individual agent, or you sign up yourself plus your team (as team leader), each agent is put into the same “main” group with all other agents. All agents have the opportunity to attend other “expert mentor” sessions on Wednesdays and Thursdays, on topics such as copywriting, marketing, social media, sports and entertainment, financial planning, Compass technology, and more!
So what does a team leader get that an individual agent does not?
While everyone is invited to participate in all of the “main” sessions on Mondays and Tuesdays, regardless of agent type, only team leaders are invited to participate in team-leader specific sessions on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Team Leader sessions review topics such as leadership, team building, hiring, onboarding, and more.
How many team members can I sign up on my team?
If you are a team leader and purchase the team leader Playbook, you can enroll (at no additional cost) up to 10* team members, including yourself. Team members will have access to the “main” sessions.
*There is some flexibility here, so please reach out if you are looking to enroll additional members.
How do I enroll my team members?
Whether you purchase on the Compass Marketplace, or directly with Chirag Shah Coaching, you do not need to enter your team member names at the time of payment. Once you make payment, you will receive an intake form via email from our team. In this email you will be instructed complete the intake form for yourself. Upon completing the intake form, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to login to our platform, where you can invite your team members!
How do I get access to the Playbook resource library?
Once you have made your payment and completed your onboarding, you will have access to our Chirag Shah Coaching “Community” Platform where all of our sessions, events and resources are hosted. Most resources are available the same day as they are taught, but often we make helpful changes before uploading them for you to use.

What is the difference between the Annual, Winter/Spring and Summer/Fall Playbook program?
Each year we host two six-month Playbook programs: the first in the Winter/Spring and the second in the Summer/Fall.
Chirag constantly updates his content to be within the scope of the current market and what buyers and sellers are doing, so pitching scripts, role play and all of those things will be different between each season, because the conversations with your clients are likely going to be different. Plus, we create new resources each program to support the needs of those agents. For example, if we get feedback that agents are looking for a script or a video or a checklist for a certain scenario, Chirag would coach on that and add it to the resource library for that program.
It is likely that we will end up with dozens of fresh, relevant resources in each of the two seasons. This content would only be available to people enrolled in that season’s program.
Plus, we have new expert mentors every season as well which means you get to curate your program with the topics that interest and benefit you the most.
When do the two seasons of the Playbook program begin?
Winter/Spring typically starts the second week of January, while Summer/Fall typically starts the last week or two of June.
