Why I Created a
Program Exclusively
for Compass Agents

My name is Chirag Shah and I’m the Founder and CEO of Chirag Shah Coaching. Formerly, I was the Director of Coaching & Training at Compass, and before that, spent nearly 14 years out in the field as a real estate agent.


While a Director at Compass, I coached thousands of agents across the country, worked on presentations for two national retreats, and pioneered two signature coaching programs: “Pitching Compass” and “Build Your Business With Concierge.”


One day, while in a one-on-one meeting with my manager, Rory Golod, at 90 Fifth Avenue, the two of us had a breakthrough realization: none of the top real estate coaches working today know how to coach Compass agents. They don’t understand the brand, tools, platform, and unique company culture that is Compass, so how could they possibly help Compass agents get the most out of their brokerage and business? 


In that moment, on January 28th, 2020, the concept for Chirag Shah Coaching was born.


I decided then and there to branch out and form a real estate coaching company—designed exclusively for Compass agents to give them the type of relevant, expert guidance their businesses need and deserve.


Since the company’s founding, my team and I have helped hundreds of Compass agents realize their full potential and live more fulfilling lives.


That’s because we’re fundamentally different from other coaching companies. We provide our clients not only with world-class, Compass-specific coaching, but also with a strong, vibrant community of like-minded Compass agents, all looking to learn, grow, and collaborate without ego. Believe me, you’re not going to find that anywhere else.


One of the main objections I always get from prospective clients is: “I’ve worked with this or that coach in the past, and they did nothing for me! What makes you so special?” 


If I had a dollar for every time I heard that, well…I’d probably still be coaching agents just because I love it so much! 


But the point is: what makes us special is our community and our integration with the Compass Platform.

We host four GCI Accelerator live sessions per week on Zoom. These run from 30 to 45 minutes, Monday through Thursday.

All GCI Accelerator live sessions are held virtually on Zoom. All sessions are then uploaded onto our website for offline or after-hours viewing, and are accompanied by written session highlight notes.

If you’re unable to attend a session in real time, no worries—all of our GCI Accelerator live sessions are recorded and uploaded onto our website for offline or after-hours viewing. Adrianna Nava
